TAKOU MOUNTAIN PAGODA TOUR

A good way to spend half a day resting from the beach activities

After picking you up from hotel, we'll head to Takou Mountain, best known for natural beauty and South East Asia’s biggest lying Buddha statue. On arrival, you will enjoy a cable car ride to Linh Son pagoda (mountain pagoda). Three entrance gates, main hall, and the group of Amitabha Buddha Statues will warmly greet you there. 

 

Climbing higher, you’ll see the lying Buddha statue, which is 49m long and 7m high, and built using just man power.

Next, we’ll stop over at a dragon fruit farm to take some photos and taste this famous tropical fruit right at the spot.

​

On the way back we’ll visit Cham Poshanu Tower, built in 9th century by Cham empire architects. 3 remaining towers will compete for attention with the panoramic view of the whole Phan Thiet city.
